Steven Borishansky specializes in developing cuisine adapted to luxury and celebratory culinary experiences. A master of the creative dînatoire, Steven mixes local Provençal flavors and french gastronomy experience with an American twist. Steven’s Kitchen is located in the heart of the Luberon, nestled at the foot of the small village of Grambois.
Of American origin, Steven settled in Provence over ten years ago to live and start a family. His culinary roots started early growing up in a family of talented musicians. Although, Steven’s passions weren’t quite musical his interests are orchestrating the perfect balance of local flavor and global inspiration with a creative culinary experience for his guests.
It is his passion for gastronomy that led him to France to work alongside Édouard Loubet at the Moulin de Lourmarin (2 stars in the Michelin guide), and in the Italian Tyrol in the Hotel Post in Nova Levante. Then also, as a caterer in New York, and on to film sets in Santa Fe, just to name a few.
Cuisine Festive and Creative
Steven’s style is derived from his many travels around the world in which he finds inspiration for his cuisine, festive with a touch of elegance, fresh and inventive taste, prepared with quality, local Provencal ingredients. Everything is homemade by Steven, including his own delicious variety of foie gras. Steven is driven to discover new culinary combinations, striving to offer only the best to his clients.
